The Trisakti Foundation Attended the RUA and Halal Bihalal Event of IKA Trisakti

The Trisakti Foundation, represented by the Secretary of the Trisakti Foundation, Prof. Muhammad Dimyati, attended the RUA and Halal Bihalal event of IKA Trisakti held at the Bidakara Hotel in Jakarta on Saturday, May 18, 2024.

In his speech, Prof. Muhammad Dimyati provided explanations regarding the dynamics occurring within the Trisakti Foundation, such as the renewal of Deed No. 03 dated February 10, 2023, which is officially registered with SABH Kemenkumham with a more dominant government element. On this occasion, he also conveyed five important points concerning the Trisakti Foundation that are currently in the court process. Prof. Muhammad Dimyati also stated that the inventory of the Trisakti Foundation's assets had just been completed. Among the interesting points are: Trisakti University stands on state land recorded at the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology. The Foundation's management has the task of safeguarding and preserving these state assets and ensuring that the implementation of the Tridharma of Higher Education runs better.

The Rector and the Heads of Educational Units have signed to join and only recognize the management registered with SABH: the Rector and Heads have been re-elected with the University Statute that was drafted and established at the beginning of 2023. Six new programs that couldn't be opened for twenty years have been opened: The School of Tourism has become the Trisakti Institute of Tourism: The Educational Unit recently received an extraordinary award from LLDikti-3 Jakarta: There is a positive trend in the number of students, for example, at Trisakti University in 2022, the number of new students was 4,023, and in 2023 it increased to 4,146; There has been an increase in the number of Associate Professors (in 2021 there were 75, now in 2024 there are 100). Full Professors (in 2021 there were 15, now there are 26). Prof. Muhammad Dimyati concluded his speech by requesting the role and support of IKA Trisakti in various matters, including; helping to clarify false information circulating in the community, supporting and facilitating Tridharma Higher Education activities and the six educational units under the Trisakti Foundation, facilitating new graduates, and supporting the management's efforts in bringing good to the educational unit.

This was also supported by the General Chairman of IKA Trisakti, who is also the Director General of Immigration, Silmy Karim. He said, "It's time for us to work together to design a better future. Together we create a better future, according to today's event theme," said Silmy, who also once served as President Director of PT Krakatau Steel.

Silmy emphasized the importance of sustainability in the legal aspects of Trisakti's educational institutions. He said this is crucial for alumni to maintain harmony and unity to create a positive atmosphere.

IKA Trisakti also took this opportunity to urge all alumni to actively clarify false information in the community and support various educational programs implemented by Trisakti.

This event is expected to be an important momentum in strengthening the bonds among Trisakti alumni and encouraging better cooperation in supporting the advancement of education in Indonesia.
